Constructed in 1914, the 2,745-foot Santa Cruz Wharf is the longest pier on the west coast. The pier is operated by the City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation. The Boardwalk is admission-free. If you’d like to take a stroll and enjoy the colorful oceanfront scene, it’s free and open to the public, even when the rides are closed.
