Backpacks are allowed, but they check them when you enter the park. “Bottles of water (one per person) and single-serve sized snacks (approx. 2oz or less) are allowed to be brought into the park.” We take in some crackers and water. We usually go in an RV so we will walk out and fix sandwiches once during the day.
