Any bicycle operated or parking in the City of Riverside is required to have a current California Bicycle License. UCR Transportation Services issues licenses at no cost to enrolled students and employees.

What is the difference between gold and gold plus parking permit UCR?
Gold permits are valid in any of the four Gold Lots (26, 30, 32, 50) located around the perimeter of campus. Gold Plus lots are located within the center of campus and are sold on a limited basis. Gold Plus lots vary each quarter based on parking availability and demand, therefore they don’t show up on the parking map.
Is UCR bike friendly?

Can married couples dorm together?
A handful of colleges do offer designated couples housing, usually for students who are legally married. Beyond that, if a couple lives in a standard gender-neutral dorm room, the relationship is their business (though resident assistants are usually pretty prepared for dealing with breakups and room reassignments).
Which dorm is best at UCR?
Dundee
The best dorm at UC Riverside is undoubtedly Dundee. The facilities at Dundee are all very new, and the furniture and lounges are all much more modern than the other residence halls. The second-best dorm, in my opinion, is a tie between Pentland and Lothian, depending on your living preferences.
