For the first time in eight years, dinosaurs have arrived in Nashville. Staff at the Nashville Zoo were hard at work all week preparing for the opening of the DinoTrek exhibit, a walking path featuring over 20 life-size animatronic dinosaurs that will be open to the public through July 31.

Starting March 11, visitors to Nashville Zoo can embark on a prehistoric adventure with DinoTrek, more than 20 life-size animatronic dinosaurs. Last seen at the Zoo in 2014, this dino experience runs through the end of July. The experience begins at a hidden entrance near the Zoo’s Historic Grassmere Home and Farm.

Can you smoke in Nashville Zoo?
In 2003, the zoo limited smoking to two designated areas. After reviewing its policy and requests from several zoo guests, the board decided to ban smoking altogether. Visitors will be instructed to extinguish cigarettes, cigars and pipes as they exit their vehicles.
Is Nashville Zoo dog friendly?
Trained service dogs that are leashed and properly restrained are welcome at Nashville Zoo. Guests with a service dog are asked to alert a guest services staff member at the front entrance upon arrival.
