The trip takes approximately 40 minutes and is a great way for passengers to view birds, sea life and other boats and ships. The ferry service utilizes two ferries, the Fort Morgan and the Marissa Mae Nicole to carry passengers and vehicles across the Bay.
Can you take your car on the Dauphin Island ferry?

All you have to do is drive your vehicle to the east end of Dauphin Island.
Is there a bathroom on the Dauphin Island ferry?
Yes! On the Marissa Mae Nicole the restroom is in the center of the vessel below the wheelhouse. On the Ft. Morgan the restroom is located under the observation deck opposite of the Crew Room.
