I would recommend that. We passed through Silver lake, didn’t get out the car, but just saw the dunes, like a desert, and you can drive dune buggies on those. Sleeping Bear is larger for what I can see, but it was beautiful too and you can hike to see more of the dunes at Silver Lake.
