What can you bring into San Diego Safari Park?

Just like an expedition into the wild, you will need to take some provisions with you to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. That may include a jogging stroller, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, water and snacks.
Can you bring water into San Diego Safari Park?
You are welcome to bring your own food or picnic with you. This includes water and beverages, but only non-alcoholic ones. Any drinks must be in non-glass containers, and it is worth mentioning that disposable straws and lids are not permitted.
What should I bring to Safari Park?
Make sure you come prepared with:
- Face mask for everyone ages 2 and older.
- Sunscreen (any time of the year)
- A hat.
- Sunglasses.
- Reusable water bottle.
- Comfortable walking shoes.
- Snacks (you may bring food into the park)
Does the San Diego Zoo check your bags?
You can take your luggage or travel bags into the San Diego Zoo. But you’ll have to store them. You can’t drag them around with you while you visit the animals. Luggage/large-item storage is available at Front Street Rentals.

How much time do you need at San Diego Safari Park?
Plan on at least 4 hours and take your time. It is similar to the zoo but covers a larger area and is not so crowded. Attempt to get their early to avoid long lines at the tram. over a year ago.

Do you have to wear a mask at San Diego Zoo?
Fully vaccinated visitors do not have to wear masks. Unvaccinated visitors age 2 and older are still required to wear a face mask while inside any indoor space at Safari Park. You do not need to show proof of vaccination. All visitors – including those from out-of-state – are welcome.
What color should you not wear on safari?
Avoid black and dark blue clothing (both colors attract tsetse flies), and leave bright-white items at home; safari parks are often dusty, and white clothes may get dingy. You want to see wildlife on safari, not look like it!
Can you take a suitcase on safari?
