No; while young guests may enjoy playing in the sand at Willow Beach next to Peggy’s Pond, and older guests may rent watercraft to use on the pond, swimming in Peggy’s Pond is not allowed. If you need to cool off, however, a trip to Mist Mountain is a great way to do so!

Organizers break ground on state-of-the-art Discovery Lab next to the Gathering Place. TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Students from Eugene Field Elementary School helped kick off construction of the new, 50,000 square foot Discovery Lab, which is opening right next door to the Gathering Place.
Can you bring food to the Gathering Place?
Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed; no formal catering is allowed. No performances, parades, or demonstrations without prior full approval by Gathering Place management. Guests are not able to reserve parking spaces for public events.
Can you roller skate at the Gathering Place?
(b) No food or drinks are allowed on play elements. (c) No coolers, chairs, or Vehicles (including bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades or other wheeled equipment) are allowed on any rubberized surface.

How much is admission to the Tulsa Zoo?
$10 for adults
Admission (which does not include tickets for the zoo’s rides and camel tours) costs $10 for adults, $6 for children ages 3 to 11, $8 for those older than 65 and is free for kids 2 and younger. Parking is free from November through March, but costs $2 per vehicle on weekends from April through October 31.

Gathering Place has strategically placed guest restrooms throughout the park, as well as in the Lodge, Boathouse, dining areas and at Adventure Playground.
Does the Gathering Place decorate for Christmas?
Gathering Place will transform into a Winter Wonderland with thousands of twinkling lights on the QuikTrip Great Lawn! We’ll spread holiday cheer with live holiday music, a winter market with holiday gifts made by local vendors, an elf dance party, festive food, and holiday drinks.
When did the Gathering Place in Tulsa open?
In 2014, Gathering Place broke ground on Tulsa’s world-class park. The dream of a space to celebrate and gather along the river was becoming reality. The next chapter was filled with excitement as we welcomed our first guests on September 8, 2018.
Can you fish at Gathering Place?
After Gathering Place is completed, river recreation will still be impacted while Zink Dam is renovated and the Pedestrian Bridge is replaced. Zink Dam remains a popular spot to fish for catfish and Striped Bass. Fishing is allowed in most areas of the park unless otherwise posted.
