How fast does the Canada Line train go?
The trains have a top speed of 80 kilometres per hour (50 mph) in normal operation and 90 kilometres per hour (56 mph) in catch-up mode.

How long does the SkyTrain run in Vancouver?
SkyTrains’ trains operate on weekdays between 05:00-01:30 am. On Saturdays, the trains start operations an hour later, and run from 06:00-01:30 am. On Sundays and public holidays, trains operate from 7:00 am – 12:30 am. Frequency of trains depends on the time of the day.
Is SkyTrain a maglev?
Although usually associated with MAGLEV operation, linear induction motors provide propulsion for SkyTrain units. The fleet is composed of 150 vehicles of ART I stock and 108 ART II, the latter ordered from 1998. ART II units are wider and provide better access than their predecessors.
